My name is Tiffany Sharp, LPC-A
Hi! I’m a school counselor, LPC-Associate, and the heart behind Playwell Child and Family Counseling. With 17 years in education, I support children and families using Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), AutPlay principles, and brain-based strategies that honor each child’s unique wiring and emotional world.
I believe in the power of safe relationships, playful connection, and supporting kids exactly where they are. Therapy at Playwell isn’t about fixing—it’s about understanding, empowering, and helping children feel seen, heard, and strong.
When I’m not in the playroom, you’ll probably find me at the ballpark with my two kids, lakeside with family, or enjoying something sweet. I'm so glad you're here.

What to Expect from Your 15-Minute Consultation
Choosing a counselor for your child is a big decision—and it should feel like the right fit. This free call is a chance for us to connect, talk through what’s going on, and give you space to ask questions. You’ll get a feel for how I work, and together we’ll decide if Playwell is the right place for your child to grow, heal, and feel safe.
Parent Consultation
What to Expect from Parent Consultations
Your voice matters. At Playwell, the first session—and again around the fifth—are for parents only. These dedicated times give us space to talk openly about your child’s needs, answer your questions, and share strategies that support growth both in and out of the playroom. We’ll also check in throughout the process to celebrate progress and adjust our approach as needed.
Child Session
What to Expect in Child Sessions (Ages 3–14)
Play is a child’s language—and in session, it’s how they process emotions, solve problems, and make sense of their world. Sessions are 50 minutes and designed to meet your child where they are, whether that’s building emotional regulation, confidence, or connection. You won’t always get a play-by-play recap (kids need privacy too!), but we’ll stay in close communication through scheduled parent consults and check-ins to support your child’s progress every step of the way.
